From the Superintendent's Office

Happy New Year. January marks a time for resolutions and goal setting. The students of Essex Fells School are primed and ready for continued success in creating a Ripple Effect of respect, responsibility and kindness in 2026. The second trimester of learning will bring opportunities for growth through exploration and collaboration across all grade levels and content areas this winter. Mid Year assessments will be conducted to ensure individualized programming and instruction adapts to specific student needs in the pursuit of meeting and exceeding curriculum requirements.

January is also Board of Education recognition month. Please join me in thanking the dedicated individuals responsible for collaborating with administration on behalf of the families of Essex Fells.

President, Mrs. Haber, Vice President, Mrs. Burke, Mr. Mehta, Mrs. Lavoie, and Mr. Pisacane. A warm welcome is also extended to Mr. Kessler and Mrs. Maffucci, newly appointed board members replacing the vacancies of Mrs. Burke and Mrs. Lavoie, who have recently completed their terms. The Essex Fell School is grateful for the time and commitment all of these individuals have dedicated to ensure the students of EFS receive an education true to the mission of our district, "Studies Pass Into Character" through excellence in education.
